(SportsNetwork. Jose Fernandez Jersey .com) - The Anaheim Ducks havent faced much adversity this season, but the Pacific Division leaders will try to avoid losing four straight games for only the second time this season when they visit the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night. It wasnt that long ago when the Ducks appeared poised to run away with the division title but the club has fallen on hard times of late. Anaheim has lost three straight and six of its last nine games and Bruce Boudreaus team is a pedestrian 7-7-2 over its last 16 games. The malaise has helped San Jose force its way into the Pacific title conversation. After winning for the eighth time in 11 games on Tuesday, the Sharks are just two points in back of Anaheim for first place. The Ducks are also two points behind St. Louis for the NHL lead. Anaheim has managed to gain two points during its current 0-1-2 slide, but the club came up empty in Mondays 3-1 home loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Phil Kessel and Tyler Bozak each registered a goal and two assists to lead Toronto to the victory in Leafs head coach Randy Carlyles return to Anaheim. Carlyle, of course, led the Ducks to their only Stanley Cup title in 2007. He served as Anaheims head coach for six-plus seasons before getting fired on Nov. 31, 2011 and replaced by Boudreau. Corey Perry scored the lone Ducks goal, while Frederik Andersen stopped 20 shots in the loss. "We had our fair chances, but we just couldnt capitalize on them," said Anaheim defenseman Francois Beauchemin. "I thought we played a decent game. We didnt get the result we wanted, but we had lots of chances offensively." The Ducks hope they can get back on track during a road-heavy portion of their schedule over the next few weeks. Anaheim, which has won three straight on the road and is 19-9-3 as the guest this season, kicks off a three-game trip tonight and will play seven of their next nine away from Orange County. Anaheim has claimed the first two of four meetings against the Flames this season and has won four of five and 10 of the past 13 encounters in this series. Calgary, however, has beaten the Ducks in three of the last four meetings at the Saddledome. The Flames, who are 17 points out of a playoff spot in the West, have lost two in a row. Calgary was last in action on Monday when it dropped a 3-2 decision to the visiting Los Angeles Kings. Calgary was down 3-0 with just under 13 minutes left in regulation, but made a valiant comeback effort behind goals from Mike Cammalleri and Brian McGrattan. In the end, however, the Flames were unable to get the equalizer and lost for the third time in five games. "Its unfortunate because I felt that defensively we did lots of good things, but we gave two goals off of tips in front and that ends up being the difference," said Calgary head coach Bob Hartley. "But once again we never quit. We pushed and we pushed and we made a decent come back." Joni Ortio made 20 saves in the loss and he could get another start in net tonight. The 22-year-old rookie has never faced the Ducks. Hiller expects to get the start for Anaheim. He is 5-4-1 with a 2.77 goals against average and .905 save percentage in 10 career games against the Flames. Calgary forward Markus Granlund is questionable for Wednesdays game with an upper-body injury suffered in the loss to the Kings. Defenseman Luca Sbisa is also questionable for Anaheim after sitting out Mondays game with a lower-body injury. Edwin Jackson Jersey .500. The Jets have now won nine of their last 11, and five of their last six road games. With the win they moved to within two points of Vancouver in the west, the Canucks holding down the eighth spot. Vancouver lost in Boston, while the other big game saw Dallas win in Phoenix. Edwin Jackson Marlins Jersey .Y. - Brooklyn Nets centre Brook Lopez has a strained lower back and will miss at least a week. http://www.officialmarlinsbaseball.com/ . His head snapped back from the impact and hit the floor. The All-Star power forward was all right afterward, a relief for the Minnesota Timberwolves.Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two of his career- high six touchdown passes to DeAndre Hopkins as the Houston Texans cruised past the Tennessee Titans, 45-21, in an AFC South blowout on Sunday. Fitzpatrick, back as Houstons starter because of the injury to Ryan Mallett, and Hopkins hooked up nine times and accounted for 238 of the quarterbacks 358 passing yards. J.J. Watt punctuated the rout with his third touchdown catch of the season and threw in two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for good measure. Arian Foster, who missed the previous two games with a groin injury, totaled 105 yards from scrimmage and caught a touchdown pass for the Texans (6-6), who still trail the division-leading Colts by two games with four to play. The Titans (2-10) dropped their sixth straight and saw starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger exit with a shoulder injury in the third quarter. Mettenberger and Kendall Wright connected on a 36-yard touchdown pass out of the break, but on the next series, Tennessees rookie QB took a big hit from Watt and exited with a right shoulder injury. Jake Locker, who was replaced by Mettenberger as the starter last month, came on in relief, and his first pass was intercepted by Jumal Rolle. On the next snap, however, Jason McCourty stripped Andre Johnson, picked up the loose ball near the sideline and sprinted 62 yards untouched to pull the Titans within 24-14. The Texans answered with the next 21 points to win going away. Hopkins caught a 34-yard toss from Fitzpatrick with cornerback Brandon Ghee draped all over him in the end zone, then had a 56-yard catch-and-run to set up Johnsons 4-yard touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter. Adeiny Hechavarria Jersey. Watt stripped Locker on the ensuing series, recovered the fumble, then made a diving catch in the end zone with his fingertips after another Hopkins catch put the ball on the 1-yard line. Locker threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Nate Washington to account for the final margin. Houston took the opening kickoff and held the ball for nearly 7 1/2 minutes. Hopkins caught a pair of third-down passes from Fitzpatrick, who kept the drive alive by rushing for a first down on 4th-and-2 from the Tennessee 35. On the 14th play of the trek, Ryan Griffin was left uncovered out of the backfield and caught Fitzpatricks 8-yard touchdown pass. Johnathan Joseph picked off Mettenbergers first pass and returned it to the Titans 20, and Fosters 7-yard grab made it 14-0 just over 10 minutes in. Randy Bullock tacked on a 37-yard field goal with 3:25 left in the half, and the Texans got the ball back with under a minute to play. Hopkins got behind the secondary and hauled in Fitzpatricks perfectly-thrown bomb, and the 58-yard strike gave the hosts a 24-0 cushion at halftime. Game Notes Watt has accounted for six takeaways this season ... Mettenberger finished with 184 yards on 13-of-19 passing, while Locker was picked off twice and tossed for 91 yards on 6-of-12 throws ... Wright caught seven passes for 132 yards ... Foster and Johnson remain tied for the most touchdowns (63) in franchise history.
