Are there particular suggestions for ways to be involved directly with the children's learning and other things that can help wives at home? Should working Dad's get involved with choosing curriculums?
Thanks

I'm going to say - help with daily preparation. I'm currently schooling 5-year olds, so prep is minimal. But as they get older, it can be daunting to prepare each night for the following day's classwork. Help there would always be appreciated. Sometimes research for subject preparation can be time-consuming. Assisting by gathering info via the internet or offline research I would think to be really helpful.

Also, once you understand the activities, two side-benefits are possible. First, you're in a better position to offer creative suggestions for activities, and two minds on something are always better than one. Second, you can offer positive reinforcement with the kids when you come home from work and understand what they've been studying. Understanding what they're doing and taking an interest in it is a confidence-builder and the best way to keep interest levels up.
